An AI agent that understands a voice note or a text message and turns it into a ready accounting invoice.
The problem
Issuing an invoice means opening the accounting software and filling in customer, items, quantities and prices by hand. For a busy seller, saying "three cartons of oil for Mr. Ahmadi" is far faster than typing a form.
The solution
I built the backend of an agent on .NET with Microsoft Agent Framework that transcribes the voice note, uses a language model to pull customer, items, quantities and amounts out of casual speech, matches them against the system's customers and products through tool calling, and builds the accounting invoice. When something is ambiguous, it asks instead of guessing.
The result
Issuing an invoice went from minutes of form-filling to a single voice note or sentence.
